Mrs. Helen Davis Steward, 84, born on September 13, 1928, in Decatur, IL, passed away June 17, 2013. She resided in Rancho Mirage, CA at the time of her passing. Helen taught elementary school for 30 years with the LAUSD. She and her husband Roy were married for 57 years. They had 2 daughters Nancy and Cindy. Helen attended UCLA and joined the Kappa Delta soroity in 1947. She remained friends with many of her soroity sisters until her death. She was active in many clubs and volunteering after her retirement from teaching. She and her husband went on many trips and cruises, thoroughly enjoying retirement . She is survived by her 2 daughters, their spouses, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
