Helen F Rentfro, 70,of Decatur, Illinois was called to heaven on Sept.11,2012 in Burbank,Ca. A private cremation service was held in CA.
Helen was born Feb 25,1942 in Decatur, Illinois, daughter of Vern & Valleria Rentfro..... She worked most of her years as a self employed beautician, owning The DollHouse Hair & Tanning Salon. She so enjoyed all of her many friends she gained from there. You were all a wonderful part of her life.
Surviving is her only daughter, Toni(Rentfro) Osseck,in Burbank,CA,and favorite loved son in law,Steve Osseck. She had 2 grand children, Jagger & Jade Osseck. They were the light of her life, truly. They have many wonderful dear memories together, with their special Grakki.
Her own mother Valleria Wittig is also surviving, whom she lived with and cared for, for many many years. She had undivided love for her always. It was difficult for them to be apart. Please keep her in your prayers.
Other family surviving members are: sister Shirley Stoutenborough(Bill). They had a special loving relationship that only sisters can have. Also brother Robert Rentfro(Elayne)& Rex Rentfro(Sue). There are many nieces and nephews. Two in particular that held a fond place in her heart are Jeff Rentfro & Heather Rentfro.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vern Rentfro, stepfather Albert Wittig,Grandmother Chloe Vest, brother Clarence(Sonny) Rentfro, and Toni's father, her 1st love, whom she loved forever,Don Miller, formerly of Decatur.
A special thank you to all her care providers over the years she had. She so appreciated your knowledge and compassion.
But mostly to her friends. I'm sorry if I dont mention you by name, but know she felt you in her heart. Longtime Lee Mosley,Terry Hayden, Sandy Cowgill,Eileen Eldridge, & Eloise Wagner. You were all priceless to her.
I wrote this many years ago in a card to her without the last 3 words attached.
"You raised me as your daughter,
You treated me like your best friend,
till the end........
I will love you forever, Mother
Toni
