Hazel Reiko Suzuki

Hazel was born in Kalihiwai, HI on November 15, 1935. After living in many different areas around the US and the world, she settled down to raise her family in California. She took pride in her career as an elementary school teacher.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, attending plays and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Staci Suzuki (Michael McKinney) of Claymont, DE, and her sisters, Kiyoko Nakagawa of Wahiawa, HI, Carol (Paul) Shinseki of Lihue, HI and Lynn (Yuji) Toyota of Brea, CA. She is preceded in death by her brother Arata Kuniyuki, sisters Sadako Kato, Atsuko Toyota and daughter, Wendi Suzuki.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 8th at 11:30am at Church of Our Fathers - Forest Lawn Cypress, 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress. CA 90630.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association of Orange County or the American Cancer Society.
