Harry Joseph Burke, 75, passed away on June 25,2020 in Yorba Linda, California of complications of Parkinson's Disease.. Harry was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 18, 1944 to Julia Ruth (Quessenberry) and Harry Burke. His youth was spent between Louisville and Nashville before moving to Nevada. He joined the Maine Corps in 1964. While serving in Vietnam Nam he was seriously injured and was awarded his most prized possession, his Purple Heart. After his discharge,he moved to California which he called home for the rest of his life.
Harry was an avid reader, and could often be found with a book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. He loved vacationing with his family and was especially fond of driving his second most prized possession,"his little red corvette ".
Harry is survived by his partner of 38 years Donna Hanson, his son Ryan (wife Beth), nieces Kim Goldberg and family of Georgia; Jill Ramsey and family of Kentucky; nephew Mark Estell and family of Kentucky; Steve Agee and family of Oroville,California; his extended work family at Pacific Western; and what he fondly called the"Minnesota Branch" of his family.
His infectious smile and sense of humor will be missed by all.

Forest Lawn in Glendale, California
While flowers are a wonderful thought, Harry would have been delighted if donations were made in his name to he Wounded Warrior Project
