Harriet Ruth Robbins, 88, was born on April 15, 1932, in Auburn, NY, and entered her heavenly home on December 19, 2020. She resided in Norwalk, CA at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl C. Robbins and Nina E. Savacool. Harriet was the youngest and last surviving of six siblings (Mary Storrs, Anne O'Neal, Robert Robbins, Richard Robbins, and David Robbins). Harriet is survived by her daughters Marilee Stefenhagen (Gordon), Lynn Lizarraga (John) and Kathleen Isaac (Ricardo); grandchildren Kirsten, David, Curtis and Evio; five great grandchildren Isaac, Anelise, Emma, Jack and Reid; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Harriet attended Cortland State Teacher's College and graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education from State University of Buffalo, NY and took numerous classes towards her Master's Degree. She taught Kindergarten, Pre-First Grade, and Fourth Grade at Alexander Central School, NY and was Genesee County Coordinator of Gifted and Talented Education prior to her retirement. She was a member of Attica Presbyterian Church in New York. After moving to California to be near extended family, Harriet joined Bay Shore Church in Long Beach, CA and was a devoted Sunday School teacher. Her passion during retirement was "Storytelling with Puppets" as Aunt Harriet. She was also an active volunteer with the Norwalk Woman's Club, Soroptimist International of Norwalk, and P.E.O.
