Harley Glen Pierce

The family of Glen Pierce is saddened to announce his passing on October 6, 2025. He passed peacefully after recently being diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Glen, who was born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada on November 18, 1939, grew up in Bermuda. At the age of 16 he left the island to join the Canadian artillery and study chemistry in Montreal. It was there that he met his wife Catherine (Cathie), whom he married in 1962. They later lived outside of Toronto and in Calgary before settling in 1979 in Covina California.

Throughout his career, Glen worked in medical manufacturing for various companies, beginning as a purchasing agent and retiring as a Director of Plant of Operations. During those years, he also volunteered extensively within the community including with the Covina Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, Meals on Wheels, and significantly with the American Red Cross.

Glen was loved by many and leaves behind his wife Patricia Pierce, his son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Brenda as well as Lisa his daughter-in-law from his predeceased son, Craig. Glen had four grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Connor, Hiram and seven great-grandchildren – Isla, Iris, Liam, Harper, Noah, Ezra, Brynnley.

Services will be held at the Covina Hills Forest Lawn on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross.
