Ham Kazerooni, 49, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA died at home on June 1, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Westminster, CA to Massoud Kazerooni and Leona Wulf Kazerooni. He graduated from Etiwanda High School and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Ham was a Civil Engineer and worked on projects throughout the State of California. He married his wife, April (Cooley) Kazerooni, at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside, CA. Together, they have two children, Hayden (12) and Addison (6).

Ham lived many places around the world as a child and continued traveling with his wife, children, and family. His friends and family knew him as a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate person who always had a smile on his face. Together with his wife they often hosted large gatherings at their home. He loved sports, especially playing basketball with friends. He and his son participated in fantasy football and built annual NCAA brackets together, winning several times. He and his daughter loved to swim and play games together. Ham also enjoyed playing cards with friends. He was active in the Foresters and served as an officer of the organization for many years.

He is survived by his wife, April; children, Hayden and Addison; father, Massoud Kazerooni; siblings, Lily Martinez Kazerooni and Sam Kazerooni (Michele); stepmother, Theo Kazerooni; parents-in-law, Steven and Jolene Cooley; sister-in-law, Melissa Cooley Sailer (Mark); brother-in-law, Marc Cooley (Warren Gayou) and 7 nieces and nephews (Alexis, Austin, Shane, Christian, Makayla, Alexander, and Cassandra). He is preceded in death by his mother Leona.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at All Saints Hospice and to Angel Flight West for the many donated trips for treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
