Danville, NH: H. Ronald "Ronnie" Howe, 76, a resident of Danville for forty years died on August 9, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Born, raised, and educated in Waltham, MA, son of the late Herbert F. and Elsie M. (Morrison) Howe, he graduated from Waltham High School. Mr. Howe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged and was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and several expert rifle commendations.
Mr. Howe was the President and owner of Beaver Brook Equipment Corporation for the past forty-six years. A member of the Danville American Legion, he was active in town sports especially as a Little League Baseball Coach and had served as President of Danville Youth Baseball. Mr. Howe was a former member of the Danville Budget Committee and was a Trustee of the Danville Cemeteries.
Mr. Howe enjoyed cooking for family and friends at get togethers and special occasions. One of his favorite past times was saltwater sport fishing and spending time aboard his fifty-five foot Hatteras, "Impetuous", that he docked in Aruba.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer J. (Spera) Howe, two sons, Jeffrey M. Howe and his wife Marion of Norwood, MA, and Joshua P. Howe of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, two step-daughters and their husbands, Stacy (Heuston) and Sean Lapierre of Dover, NH, and Melissa and Gary Post of Plaistow, NH, a sister, Carol Cynthia Gorman of Oakton, Virginia, four grandchildren, Connor, Devon, and Jacob Lapierre, and Lucas Richard Howe, a niece, and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Howe's Life Celebration on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 10 a.m. at the Danville Baptist Church. A Private family burial service with military honors will be held on Wednesday afternoon in Wadsworth Cemetery, Sudbury, MA.
