Gualberto D. Antolin

Gualberto D. Antolin, “Bert,” 82, born on July 11, 1941, in Silag, Sta. Maria, Llocos Sur, Philippines, passed away December 27, 2023 surrounded by family.  He resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.

Bert came to the US in 1974 and in 1975 his wife Rosalina ”Sally” and children Christian, Lance and Tim arrived.  In 1980, Leilani was born.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering and worked in the chemical industry until 2001.  Bert enjoyed ”going fishing” aka going to the casino with Sally and his kids.  He loved nature and taking long walks.  He was a big Lakers and Dodgers fan and rarely went without wearing an LA hat.  Along with his signature LA hat, he always had his camera to capture life’s moments.  ”Papa” loved to make people laugh and he will be missed dearly but will live forever in our hearts.  

Bert is survived by his loving wife Sally of 56 years, as well as his children Christian, Lance, Tim, Leilani (Jimmy) Nguyen, and 2 grandchildren, Savannah and Alexandra.
