Our beloved mother, Guadalupe R. Rocha, found peace on January 14, 2026, at the age of 92 when the Lord called her home to eternal life. She passed away at her home in Huntington Park, California, where she lovingly resided for 51 years, surrounded by her family.
Daughter of Maria De La Luz Garcia and Prudencio Rodriguez, Guadalupe was born on November 28, 1933, in Mexico, the youngest of nine siblings. At just 18 years old, she married the love of her life Rodolfo J. Rocha and devoted her life to building a home filled with love, faith, and unwavering commitment to her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 72 years, Rodolfo J. Rocha; her daughters, Margarita, Maria, and Rosalinda; her son, Sergio; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Rudy, whom she carried in her heart always.
A devoted Catholic and woman of deep faith, Guadalupe lived with strength, humility, and purpose. She was a hard worker who took great pride in her honesty, morals, and values. In her early years, she worked in Retail where she exemplified the true meaning of customer service, always doing what was needed to support her family. In her early 40s, she earned her Real Estate License and went on to become a highly respected and trusted Realtor, known for her integrity and the care she showed to everyone she served.
Guadalupe had a passion for reading and writing. As a young adult, she wrote short stories and poems for a small newsletter in Laredo Mexico—an early reflection of her thoughtful spirit and creative heart. She also loved to cook and enjoyed trying new recipes, generously sharing meals and traditions with those she loved.
Above all, Guadalupe had a gift for connecting with people. She touched countless lives simply by taking time to listen, talk, and offer her advice and wisdom. Her warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will remain in the lives she shaped and the family she built.
You will always be alive deep within our hearts, we Love you Mom.
