Haverhill, MA: Grace A. (Paris) Comeau, 98, of Haverhill and formerly of Harold's Grove, Kingston, NH, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at The Stevens-Bennett Home for Ladies in Haverhill.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Frank O. and Laura (Charbonneau) Paris, she attended St. Joseph's Grammar School.

Mrs. Comeau worked at AT&T Technologies and Western Electric as a Communications Worker for twenty-one years before her retirement. She was also the co-owner of Harold's Grove Campground in Kingston from 1950 to 2001.

A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph's Parish, Mrs. Comeau taught ceramics and enjoyed playing the piano. A world traveler, she owned property in Nova Scotia and Florida, where she spent many winters. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit that will be missed by many.

Mrs. Comeau was predeceased by her husband, Harold Comeau, and is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard H. and Rose Comeau of Haverhill, and Robert N. and Deborah Comeau of North Conway, NH, a daughter, Norma G. Wildes and her companion Donald Sawyer of Haverhill, a daughter and son-in-law, Janice M. and Albert J. Gulubicki of Atkinson, NH, a sister, Yvonne Dombroski of Peabody, fourteen grandchildren, Sherryl Comeau, David Comeau, Brian Wildes and his wife Pamela, Dana Wildes and his wife Katharina, Jeffrey Comeau, Wendy (Comeau) Card and her husband Scott, Russell Comeau and his wife Kimberly, Lisa (Comeau) Moore and her companion Erik Chase, Leah (Comeau) Bridges and her husband Wayne, Joseph Comeau, Steven Allen, Brett Comeau and his companion Melissa Hill, Garrett Gulubicki and his wife Robin, and Alison Gulubicki and her companion Christopher Hoerth, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald F. Comeau.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, February 16 from3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.
