Joanne Webb King

Joanne King, age 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 3, 2024. 

Born Golda Joanne Webb in Albuquerque, NM, on February 4, 1941, Joanne lived most of her life in Southern California - residing for the past 54 years in Covina, CA.

A deeply devoted Christian, Joanne brought love, grace, and warmth into the world, leaving an enduring legacy of faith and family. She is survived by her husband, Carl King, and her five children Caryn, Rick, Jennifer, Joelle and Monica, and by her fifteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren who called her “Grammy".

Joanne had a beautiful soprano voice and was a talented seamstress, quilter, cook and baker, crafting formal gowns and stunning cakes that were at the center of many loved ones' weddings and other celebrations. Joanne's life was rich and she was blessed to have a very close knit family and many lifelong friends who were drawn to her caring, kind, and thoughtful spirit. Joanne’s home was a reflection of her warm and nurturing heart and all who entered felt welcomed and loved. Her legacy of faith, creativity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
