Godfredo Anupol Valero

Godfredo "Doy" Anupol Valero, 67, passed away peacefully in the early morning on May 24, 2022. He was born to Edgardo and Ester Valero on November 8, 1954 in Manila, Philippines. Doy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Zenaida "Ida" Valero (married 45 years); children: Jenny Clavero (Michael), Dennis, and Michael; 3 grandchildren; and siblings Renato "Rene" (Lea), Noel (Dawn), and Pomona "Pomie" Skowvron (Michael).

He was a Vietnam Veteran Hospital Corpsman, HM 8404/8406 serving in the Navy with the Marine Corps. He received his Honorable Discharge from the US Navy in 1979, and the US Naval Reserve in 1983. He successfully transitioned his career into the private sector in Health Care, earning his MSBA in 1988 in Financial Management and Strategy, and leading to the role of CFO. He retired in 2013 as CFO - Primary Provider Management Company, Inc., splitting his time between his home in the Philippines and his home in CA, where he and Ida enjoyed sharing many moments with family and dear friends.

Vigil Service will be on 6/15/22 at 5pm at Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Church Of Our Heritage, 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, California.
Funeral Service will be on 6/17/22 at 10am at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 3883 Baldwin Park Blvd, Baldwin Park, California
