Gloria Gould Zusman

Gloria Gould Zusman, 86, born on September 20, 1930, in Los Angeles, California, passed away at her home in Palm Desert, California on October 13th. She was surrounded by her loving family and devoted husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob). Gloria, or "Glory" to her friends and family, was a loving, vivacious, tenacious woman with a strong sense of spirituality and a zest for fun and fashion. The most important thing to her in her life was her family. Her long-passed parents, Harry and Molly Gould, were always close in her heart, as was her late brother Paul Gould. Glory's biggest champion was her husband Bob. They met at UCLA on a blind date for lunch. It was "love at first bite," and they married the following year, 1949. When they welcomed daughters Lynn and Claudia, they felt complete in their family life and love. Gloria's further fulfillment came as a Grandmother to Lynn's Molly and Claudia's Hunter and Nicholas.

Gloria and Bob moved to Palm Desert from Encino in 2010. In declining health, Glory still delighted in keeping up with family news, birthdays, and anniversaries. Her daughters, grandchildren and great granddaughter were a constant source of joy to her.

Gloria is survived by her husband Bob, Lynn and Glenn Porter, Claudia and Wally Glass, Molly and Matt and Baby Shae Northrop, Hunter and Sydney Golden, Nicholas Golden, sister-in-law Marilyn Gould, nieces Sheri Sindell and Melanie Gould, nephew George and his wife Chris Gould, and all of their respective children and their families.
