Gloria Jean Majovski

Gloria Jean Majovski passed away on October 12, 2022 in Camarillo, California at the age of 69. Gloria was born on December 27, 1952 to George Jack and Viola Mary Majovski.
Gloria grew up in Glendale, California and graduated from Hoover High School. She attended Hollywood Presbyterian and Los Angeles City College nursing schools along with Chapman college where she received a bachelor's degree. She was a registered nurse since 1975 and used her skills to provide loving care to her parents in their final years. Later she received an MBA with an emphasis in Information Technology from California Lutheran University in 2001.
She worked as an RN for many years and then worked as a Customer Service Representative and Supervisor for Bank of America, Earthlink and Intuit.
Gloria loved animals, especially horses and read endless books about them as a child. She also loved reading in general and the Dodgers MLB team. She was known for her sense of humor, kindness and compassion. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
Gloria is survived by her nephews Matthew Majovski (Joan Demeules); Merrick Majovski; her niece Molly Blann (Casey,); her niece in law Judy Majovski in addition to several great nieces, nephews, cousins and her many close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law John and Merrilu Majovski and her nephew, Mark Majovski.
Services for Gloria will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California in the Wee Kirk O' the Heather chapel on November 10 at 2pm.
Her family suggests that donations in Gloria's memory may be made to the Camarillo Friends of the Library, the Ventura County Animal Shelter in Camarillo or to a charity of your choice.
