Gloria Magadia, 88, born on April 16, 1938, in Pasay City, Philippines, passed away July 10, 2026. She resided in Seal Beach, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.

Gloria Magadia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of faith whose life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and friends. After the loss of her husband, Mario C. Magadia, in 1994, Gloria raised their three children, Mark, Ricky, and Gina, as a single parent. She always put her family first, providing them with love, guidance, and strength through every stage of life.

A faithful Catholic, Gloria raised her children in a loving Christian home, attending church regularly with her children and later with her grandchildren (Kyal, Emma, Leila, Chelsea and Benjamin). She instilled in her family the importance of faith, respect, compassion, and unconditional love.

Gloria was known for her incredible work ethic. A self-described workaholic with a love for shopping, she remained active and hardworking throughout her life, continuing to work until the remarkable age of 87. Her determination, independence, and zest for life inspired all who knew her.

During the last six months of her life, Gloria faced significant health challenges after being diagnosed with a brain mass that caused frequent falls and increasing weakness. Although the mass was successfully removed in June, the recovery process placed tremendous strain on her heart. This led to a series of complications from which she was ultimately unable to recover.

Gloria will be remembered for her strength, resilience, deep faith, and boundless love for her family. Her memory lives on in her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, perseverance, and love that will continue to guide her family for generations to come.
