Gloria Henriquez

Gloria Henriquez passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 50. She was born in Ojos de Agua, Morazán, El Salvador, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, her two older brothers, and her sister. From an early age, Gloria formed a deep bond with her family, a love that remained at the center of her life.

Gloria was the heart of our family. She had a special way of bringing people together, whether through the stories she shared, the laughter she created, the encouragement she gave, or simply by being there when someone needed her. She was always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, or a joke to brighten someone's day. She encouraged those she loved to believe in themselves, follow their dreams, and live life to the fullest. Gloria lived her life with love, joy, and kindness. Her warm spirit and beautiful smile could brighten any room, and her presence made those around her feel welcomed and cared for. She loved music and dancing, especially when one of her favorite songs came on, and she never hesitated to enjoy the moment and make memories with the people she loved. 

She will also be remembered for her love of nature, especially sunflowers and hummingbirds. Gloria cared for a beautiful sunflower garden that became a reflection of her own spirit—bright, peaceful, and full of life. The hummingbirds that visited her garden brought her great joy, and they will forever serve as a reminder of the beauty and happiness she brought into the lives of others.Gloria devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a speech therapist, where she worked with children and helped them find their voices. She brought patience, compassion, and joy to her work and cared deeply about the children she supported. Her kindness extended beyond her family and touched the lives of the many children and families she encountered throughout her career.

Above all, Gloria was a loving wife, daughter, mother, aunt, and sister. She cherished her family deeply, especially her husband and her two sons, whom she loved beyond measure. She gave so much of herself to those around her and created countless memories that will remain with them forever.Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and joy. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her, her memory will continue to live on through the stories her family tells, the music she loved, the laughter she inspired, and every sunflower and hummingbird that we see along the way. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
