Gladys A. (currier) Tozier

Plaistow, NH: Gladys A. (Currier) Tozier, 94, of Plaistow, died on October 20, 2014.

Born, raised, and educated in Plaistow, daughter of the late Irving and Annie (Holgate) Currier, she attended the Pollard School and graduated from Sanborn Seminary and McIntosh Business School. Mrs. Tozier was employed as a secretary for DiTommasso Jewelry Store and had also been employed for Merrick Oil in Plaistow for many years.

A member of the First Baptist Church in Plaistow, she was also a member of the Pythian Sisters, the Triangle Guild, and the Ladies Social Circle. An avid quilter, Mrs. Tozier enjoyed travelling and was a talented seamstress. She was also an active member of the Kingston Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge.

She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Tozier, and is survived by her daughter, Anna M. Tozier of Hampton, NH, and several cousins.

Relative and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Tozier's Life Celebration on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:30 at the First Baptist Church, 122 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Plaistow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
