He was predeceased by his parents, Rollo Neri Smith and Lulu Myrtle (Hiersekorn) Smith, and a son, Lawrence Gillette Smith. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Mae (Pascoe) Smith; son, Steven Alan Smith; and daughters, Nancy Irene (Smith) Aird and Marilyn Alice (Smith) Breig; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.
