Gilbert Edward Thornton, 77, born on January 18, 1942, in Plattsburg, New York, passed away April 27, 2019. He resided in Chino Hills, California at the time of his passing. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Teodora Thornton; his son Gabriel Thornton and daughter Elizabeth Casey. He reunited with his son Gilbert E. Thornton Jr (deceased July 12, 2015); five grandchildren; and many close friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9am-9pm.
Funeral service and burial the next day; Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9-11:30am.
