Gerry "Genny" Lynn Kerns, 72, born on February 16, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, passed away on June 26, 2017 after a 9 month battle with cancer. Genny was a pioneering animal trainer and one of the first female trainers in the entertainment industry with a career lasting over 50 years. Genny was a beloved wife – widow of stuntman Hubie Kerns Sr., mother to Steve Kerns and Lisa Paretsky and grandmother "GG" of Heather Kerns, Holli Kerns, Daniel Paretsky, Cameron Cleve and Gabriel Paretsky.
