Gerald Eugene Michael

Gerald "Jerry" "Grandpa" Eugene Michael, 82, born on August 21, 1939, in River Falls, WI, United States, to parents Bertram Eugene Michael and Clara Belle Smith Michael, passed away December 22, 2021. Now reunited with his beloved wife Armida Elena Navarrette Michael and daughter Diana. At the time of his death he resided in Victorville, CA with his family Michael & Leah Christensen, who feel honored to have spent the last minutes of his life with him. He is remembered as precious, quiet man who was loved by many. He leaves behind his daughter Leah Christensen and her husband Michael Christensen; a daughter-in-law Aliesha Greenfield Michael; a son James; thirteen grandchildren Patrick (Jana), Robert (Kristine), Monica, Destiny (Justin), Veronica (Tim), Morgan (Sierra), Jason, Hailey, James, Carter, Gerald, Candis, and Ashley; thirteen great-grandchildren Maxwell, Delaney, Logan, Riley, Abigale, Brandon, Garrett, Hudson, Kensley, Kaelyn, Sophia, Serenity, Joe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved family, talk radio, riding his motorcycle, having a dedicated Tuesday lunch date, and reading his Bible. He attended Sierra Vista Baptist in Alta Loma for many years, recently joining The Gate Church of the High Desert as his home church. He was a member of the American Legion 835 from his service as an airplane mechanic in the US Air Force and served honorably during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also worked in his father's service stations before being employed at Kaiser Steel for almost twenty years before ending his retirement as a truck driver. Well done, good and faithful servant.
