Dr Gerald Bowers Iba, 85, born on January 16, 1936, in Salt Lake City, UT, passed away January 13, 2021. Dr Iba is survived by his long time partner Stefano Tenorio as well as his 8 children; Mark, Christy, Michael, Becky, David, Lissa, Katie, and Steven. Gerald has 20 grand children and 6 great grand children. Gerald was married to Catherine Iba for 40 years. He enjoyed playing the piano from a young age and never stopped. He studied with Rufus Choi and competed in several piano competitions in Paris and performed at many recitals locally. Gerald studied medicine and became a Radiologist working at several hospitals in southern California, and finally just retiring at the age of 80. He resided in Toluca Lake, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
