Gerald Paul Borrell

Gerald "Jerry" Paul Borrell, 77, born February 12, 1942, in Warren, OH, passed away July 24, 2019, in Fountain Valley, CA -- Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Son-in-Law, Father-in-Law, Brother-in-Law, Brother, Uncle and Friend.


JERRY was surrounded by his family, who held his hands, prayed with him, laughed and cried together, before he peacefully passed on. We MISS him SO MUCH, but we're grateful knowing he's breathing freely in Heaven. Amen.


He is survived by his wife Pamela (Pam), daughters Shelly Borrell Freis and Ami Borrell Breneman, grand-daughters Bailee and Alexis (Lexi) Breneman, mother-in law Harriette Moomey, sons-in-law Matt Freis and Jerry Breneman, brothers-in-law Doug Moomey and Jim Walders, brother Robert (Bobby) Borrell, and sister Barbara Borrell Walders. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, cousins-in-law, and amazing lifelong friends. He will truly be missed by all.


JERRY was married to his beautiful wife Pam for 55 years. Everyone loved hanging out with Pam & Jerry. He worked hard to support his family as an Iron Worker before retirement. People knew him as witty, smart, direct, gruff, funny, free, as 'maddog', serious, giving, supportive, knowledgeable, wise, patriotic, gutsy, loving and BIG-HEARTED. He loved FISHING and competing with his lifelong friend Chuck Hernandez, and other friends and relatives, to catch the biggest. He won! More than anything, Jerry loved his FAMILY and being with them whenever possible.


A Memorial honoring JERRY will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Church of Our Fathers Chapel at Forest Lawn in Cypress at 11:30 a.m. Lunch & Budweiser will be served at Pam & Jerry's house immediately following. Directions to P&J's will be provided at Jerry's Memorial, if needed.
