George Winton Frie

George Winton Frie, 92, passed away on November 13, 2017 in La Mesa, California, where he resided at the time of his passing.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, on October 21,1925 to parents George and Celia Frie. In addition to his parents, George also had two siblings; sister Marjorie (Marge) and brother Robert (Bob).

George was a WWII Army Veteran, were he proudly served his country in the European Campaign.

George was a beloved and devoted husband to Eileen, father to son George Jr and fiance Adriana, daughter Barbara and son in law Joe, grandfather to Thomas and wife Jennifer, Christopher and wife Jessica, and Ashley, He loved and was also loved by his wife's children, grand children, great grand children, and their spouses.

Funeral Services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park - Hollywood Hills, CA on Monday, November 20th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans Foundation or Wounded Warriors Project.
