George Edens

   It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of George Edens, who passed peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loved ones, on April 30, 2023 at the age of 88.

  George was a kind, generous, loving and caring soul with an infectious laugh and a heart of gold.  He filled our lives with much love and laughter.  Christmas was his favorite holiday because he loved the gift of giving.

   Some of his hobbies were fishing, camping and most of all traveling in his motor home. He couldn't wait to get behind that big wheel and set forth on new adventures.

   He enjoyed baseball, football and watching the news.  He once met John Wayne, the famous actor, on one of his road trips.  A few of his favorite singers were Elvis Presley and Bing Crosby.  But most of all, he enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends.

   His dogs, Fluffy 1 and Fluffy 2, were a huge part of his life and he held the ASPCA, a non profit organization close to his heart. With that said, we ask that in lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the ASPCA in honor of George Edens.

   George... loving husband, father and grandfather, will be greatly missed by his family, friends, acquaintances and all who knew him.

   He is survived by his wife, Sandra Faya Edens, mother of his step children, Laura, Tammy, Pammy, Kevin, his 9 grandchildren, his step daughter Pam and his daughter Georgette.

   He is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Brother and first wife Delores Edens, the mother of his daughters, Pam and Georgette.
