George L. Denn

Haverhill, MA:  George L. Denn, Jr., 53, of Haverhill, MA, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at his home of natural causes.

Born in Boston, MA, son of George L. Denn and Janet (Kirlevich) (Denn) Broughall, he attended school in South Boston.  He moved to Arlington as a child and attended Arlington High School, graduating with the Class of 1977.  He served in the United States Navy and later worked as a Master Mechanic for the City of Arlington until his retirement.  

He was a member of Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow, NH and was a past cub scout master.  Mr. Denn enjoyed camping, scuba diving, carpentry and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Theresa F. (Maher) Denn; a son, Christopher G. Denn of Haverhill; a daughter and son-in-law, Jillian E. and Kenneth Cote of Newmarket, NH; his father, George L. Denn of Weymouth; his  mother, Janet (Kirlevich) (Denn) Broughall of Arlington; three brothers, James Denn of Haverhill, David Denn of Arlington and John Broughall of Arlington; a sister, Kathleen Denn of Hampton Beach, NH; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frances T. and William J. Maher of Woburn; three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 6 to 7:45 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Plaistow Village), Plaistow, NH.  A Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
