George Glenn Dawley, born in Eagle Rock, California on September 13, 1919, succumbed on Friday, October 17, 2014 to complications from a fall he suffered in September. He had been a resident of Pasadena for sixty years. After returning from serving in the Army during World War II, George enjoyed a successful career in mortgage banking and real estate development. He was a long time member of the Pasadena Y's Men and an Emeritus Member of the Board of the Healthcare Foundation at Glendale Adventist Hospital. George is survived by his son, Gregory, his daughter-in-law Hilda, his grandchildren, Joseph and Sarah, his brother Raymond, and friends too many to number. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathryn, to whom he was married for 68 years, and his son Kevin. Funeral Services will be held in his honor at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at The Little Church of the Flowers at Forest Lawn Glendale, located at 1712 S. Glendale Avenue, Glendale.
