George Youssef Chebat

George Youssef Chebat, 82, of Anaheim, California, passed away on August 6, 2019. George was born on November 22, 1936 in Ain Ebel, Lebanon. He is survived by five children, eight grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 18 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park – Cypress,4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 5:00 pm at Forest Lawn. A reception will follow at George's house in Anaheim.

George was an accountant by profession serving the cities of Long Beach and Compton for more than 30 years. In his retirement, George loved to cook, travel, enjoyed westerns, and of course, Las Vegas.

George married Grace, the love of his life in 1966 and together they spent the next 45 years raising a family, traveling, entertaining, and leaving a legacy of hospitality and love that lives on through the family and hundreds of friends' lives they touched.
