Geoffrey Charles White

January 11, 1961 — January 2, 2015

Geoffrey Charles White, 53, passed away at his home January 2, 2015 following a courageous and unrelenting battle against cancer. He resided in Los Angeles, California at the time of his passing. Geoffrey leaves behind his wife and best friend for 31 years, Lisa, his sons Jordan and Logan. His family in England, parents Bill and Kay, brothers Jonathan and Andrew, sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Ian. Uncle to Hayley, Olivia, Lydia, Courtney and Cody. His in-laws and friends, Wayne and Mary Shuart. Goddaughters Sarah, Cynthia and Gabrielle. Geoffrey also leaves behind an entire lifetime of friends and comrades from his work in production, to his "mates" around the world, to his close and personal brother-friends and his Life 101 team. He loved them all.

Born on January 11, 1961 in Kingsdown, England, Geoffrey became an avid scuba diver and free diver. He was addicted to his favorite island, Grand Cayman and always dreamed of getting back to build his ever-changing beach house and buy his own boat. Geoffrey was a highly esteemed Location Scout and Manager for commercials and a man of purpose and intention in his work. He could always be counted on to get the jobs done -- no matter the difficulty. Geoffrey enjoyed lively debates; seeing movies with his sons and friends; photographing millions of images of Los Angeles; watching sports; reading from his vast and ever-growing library of books and of course dreaming big dreams.

Geoffrey was an optimists optimist. His cup was always half full and you could always count on getting his text messages, "never give up, never give in!" If you asked on any given day how he was, he would reply "good, better than good! Never better!" Even during the ever-growing pain from spreading cancer, his spirit did not wane. Geoffrey's spirit was so alive, so courageous and blended beautifully with his God. He would want you to know that.

His larger than life personality, his true to self honesty and his loyal friendship to many will be dearly missed. A bright light has been dimmed; a voice has been silenced. You left us way too soon Geoffrey.

The family is requesting donations be made in Geoffrey's honor and memory to "The Geoff White Memorial Fund." Please visit http://www.gofundme.com/jnu398 for more information.
