Genevieve Padilla Hernandez, 92, of Coachella, Calif., passed away on June 29, 2018 in Indio, Calif. She was born on May 4, 1926, to Jose Padilla and Luz V. Padilla in Mesilla, New Mexico. She married Jose M. Hernandez on September 28, 1947 in Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her daughters, Guadalupe Feliciano, Jessica Peyton, Josie Hernandez, her sons Crist Hernandez, Henry Hernandez, Richard Hernandez; her sister Cleotillie Flores; her brothers, Henry Padilla, Jess Padilla; her 12 grandchildren, her 18 great-grandchildren, and her 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose M. Hernandez; and her sisters Dolores Nunez, Nellie Ugarte, Connie Gonzalez, Margie Ybarra, her brothers David V. Padilla and Alex Padilla.
