Genevieve "Jeff" McLeod, age 92, of Palm Desert, Calif. passed away on June 21, 2013. She was born on May 4, 1921 to Elva and Joe Thomas in Colorado. She was raised in Cortez, Colo. and graduated from Durango High School. She married Courtney McLeod on March 1, 1942 in Los Angeles, Calif. They lived there and raised their three children for most of their adult lives. She and her husband moved to Palm Desert in 1990. They loved the desert, and you could find the two of them each morning watching the sunrise together, with coffee cups in hand. She was a loyal wife and wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her three children: sons, Kelly and Court McLeod; and daughter, Monica Worth. She will be buried next to her husband at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, Calif.
