Gary Caswick

Gary Phillip Caswick, 73, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Indio, California. A resident of La Quinta for over 25 years, Gary was known for his kindness, charm, and unwavering faith. 

 Born on June 6, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward and Otilia Caswick, who preceded him in death, Gary was a devoted son who cared for his parents and ensured their comfort in later years.

 A skilled chemical engineer, Gary built a successful career as a top Regional Sales Manager for Valmet Papermill before retiring to care for his mother. He had a passion for travel, with Africa and Hawaii being among his favorite destinations, where he celebrated the beauty of God’s creation.

 Gary’s faith was central to his life. He was a dedicated member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, known for his generosity and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends, who will remember him as a true gentleman.

 A funeral Mass will be held on January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 47225 Washington St., La Quinta, CA. Services will also be livestreamed at https://stfrancislq.com.
