He is survived by his father, Craig Chipman, his mother, Becky Chipman, his sister, Brooke Chipman, and many other loving relatives.
Garrett graduated from Deer Valley High School in Antioch, California, in 2014, where he was active in school leadership and on the Varsity Volleyball team. He was a junior at San Diego State University at his time of passing, majoring in Advertising. Garrett was an active member of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) fraternity.
Garrett touched many with his character, sense of humor and infectious personality. He was an amazing friend to many and his happy-go-lucky attitude and contagious smile will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. The world was a better place because of him.
