Fred S. Galvan, 55, went to be with our Lord on February 6, 2015. He was born on December 12, 1959, in Haskell, Texas. He resided in Lakewood, California, at the time of his passing. Arrangements were under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. Fred grew up in Anson, Texas and relocated to Southern California in 1985 where he worked as a Carpenter. Fred also served 6 years in the Army National Guard, and was buried with Military Honors along with the sounding of TAPS. The American Flag presented to his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Audencio Jesse Galvan, sister's Jessica Galvan and Lupe Galvan Ortega.
He is survived by his mother Tomasa Galvan from Anson Texas; Paulette Sandstedt; Johnathan Nava-Galvan, son, and wife, Christy; Breanna Hunter, daughter, and husband, Joseph; Gloria Nava-Galvan, daughter, and Jorge Verduzco; Grandchildren, Becky Rose and Charlie Galvan all from Lakewood, California. Siblings Benny S. Galvan, Mary Soliz and husband Joe, Freddy Galvan, and Raul Galvan from Abilene, Texas; David Galvan from Anson, Texas; Elisabeth Houghton and husband, Pat from Plano, Texas; and Rocky Galvan from Dallas, Texas. Fred had many nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family members.
Pallbearer's were Benny S. Galvan, David Galvan, Freddy Galvan, Rocky Galvan, Johnathan Nava-Galvan, and Lance Corporal, Cameron Nava, with the USMC.
