Fred D. Bouchard

Fred D. Bouchard, 87, born on July 10, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, passed away October 30, 2014. He resided in Apple Valley, California at the time of his passing. A private gathering to honor Fred is scheduled Wednesday, November 5, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor to the American Heart Association are suggested.

Fred is survived by his wife, Earlene; 2 daughters, Mary Kramer (Barry) and Susan Ezard; 1 step-son, Sam Cagle; 3 step-daughters, Donna Wammack, Debbie Newman (dec), and Diane Bowen. Grandchildren include Haley and Abby Ezard, Evan and Kylie Kramer, Katina Cagle, Dennis and Stacia Wammack, and Brent Newman; 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Fred also enjoyed several beloved nieces and nephews.

Fred was the son of Charlotte Harris Carpenter and Fred Henry Bouchard and was raised with his 3 sisters, Geraldine Smith (dec), Faye Royer (dec), and Patricia Reichman (Boise, Idaho). He graduated from Franklin High School in 1945 and enjoyed a successful career with Capitol Records, Inc, where he began as a press operator and, with his strong work ethic, worked his way up the ladder to Plant Manager in Jacksonville, IL and Atwater, California. He retired in 1984 after 30 years service with Capitol. His passions were his family, cars, and tinkering in his garage and yard. As an avid lover of the outdoors, he and Earlene settled in the high desert community of Apple Valley. He is greatly loved and missed by his family members.
