Indian Land, SC: Frank M. Taillon, Sr., 95, of Indian Land, SC, and a former long time resident of Plaistow, NH, and Haverhill, MA died on January 14, 2014 in Fort Mills, SC.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, son of the late Frank W. and Ethel (Landry) Taillon, he graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1937 and went on to attend Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.

Mr. Taillon worked as a machinist for Western Electric for twenty-seven years. He previously worked for several years at Taillon Tire Shop.

A member of the former Holy Angels Parish in Plaistow and St. Joseph's Parish in Haverhill, he attended St. Philip Neri Church in Fort Mills, SC. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Knights of Columbus, and was a lifetime member of D.A.V Hannah Duston Post. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, snowmobiling, camping, and boating.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Clairinda (Lapierre) Taillon, and is survived by four sons, Frank M. Taillon, Jr. and his wife Judith A. of Indian Land, SC, Gregory J. Taillon and his wife Susan J. of Plaistow, and Michael J. Taillon his wife Judith B. of Portland, ME, Matthew J. Taillon of Largo, FL, two daughters, Hope Carlyn M. Taillon of Largo, FL, and Revelle M. Paquette and her husband Daniel of Plaistow, fifteen grandchildren, Robin Montisanti, Jonathan M. Barbeau, Samuel D. Barbeau, Naomi E. Barbeau, Stephen J. Taillon, Scott G. Taillon, Shari-Ann Bishop, Christopher M. Taillon, Jenelle A. O'Brien, Erin M. Drislane, Jennifer A. Casoni, Zachary D. Taillon, Elizabeth C. Taillon, Michael A. Taillon, and Joshua S. Taillon, seventeen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Earle V. and Robert N. Taillon, and a grandson Kristian Woodson.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA.
