Francisco Escobedo, 93, born on July 25, 1933, in Alamo, TX, passed away peacefully in his home with loved ones on August 01, 2026. His wife of 68 years was holding his hand as he took his last breath.
He was a strong, hardworking man of few words, but when he spoke he shared wisdom or amazing stories of his lifelong journey. He loved and adored his grandchildren, and had a passion of caring for animals and plants.
He loved to be outside working on the yard - even in 120 degree weather you could still find him trimming at the top of the tallest tree. He was also artistic and expressive, creating art with everyday household items - finding value in every object.
He served in the in the US Army and Air Force, as was the patriarch of the family for his entire life. He was respected for his honesty, integrity and admired for his tireless work ethic.
He resided in Indio, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
