Francisca Clementina Vasquez, 86-
At her request, there will be a limited private memorial service on July 28, 2020 at 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. with face-masks required at the service-
Some knew her as "Clemen" or Clementine, she was born on April 2, 1934, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Marcelino Garza Palacios and Margarita Silva-Silva. She lived in Mission, Texas and was married to Santos Garcia Vasquez in 1953. She eventually moved to Palm Springs in 1956. She greatly enjoyed dancing, listening to Tex-Mex music and collecting thimbles, cow figurines, and traveling. She was granted her Angel wings on July 5th 2020 at approximately 6:30 a.m. She is survived by life companion Juan Lopez, daughter Martha Vasquez and 4 sons, Roberto, Ramon, Jaime and Rodolfo Vasquez. 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Angelica Vasquez and Mary Silva and brother in law Jose Vasquez. 4 nieces, and 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Margarita and father Marcelino, husband Santos G. Vasquez, and her two sons Carlos and Santos Jr.
