Francisca P. Jauregui

Francisca P. Jauregui 89, born on October 10, 1931, in Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away January 7, 2021. She resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
At the age of 20, married Francisco Jauregui and they immigrated to the United states to make their life and future. They raised 4 children with all the struggles a couple faces in a new country and a new language. Francisca, strong and determined soon learned some English and started working as a seamstress in the garment industry, not long after, she used these skills to start her own bridal business. Many years of sacrifices would allow her to achieve some financial security, though never forgetting where she come from.
She and her husband worked tirelessly along with other fellow family members of their town, organizing fundraisers and project to help the progress of their little town of "La Estancia". Later this work partnered with bigger organizations and clubs. Her dedication and commitment would lead her to become the President of "Club La Estancia, as President her leadership was recognized with many awards and acknowledgements. This work continued till the very end of her life, sadly her health began to fail and she went on to be with God. Her faith in God was her great motivation and made all this possible. Her family and friends will never forget the great efforts and amazing contributions she made. Our Mom leaves us with the example of hard work; many long nights at her sewing machine. Traditions; like teaching and directing the making of tamales each Christmas. Generosity towards others and dedication to help others. Lastly the Vision to dream big!
This was Francisca Jauregui, her presence here will be greatly missed and her legacy will live on for generations.
