Francis J. Pfizenmayer

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Frank spent the later portion of his life in Los Angeles, Taught by the Jesuits, he was raised with a Roman Catholic education in Philadelphia. President of the Student council at St. Joseph's College [now St. Joseph's University], he went to Law School at University of Pennsylvania. He clered for a judge in Philadelphia and then joined ARA [now ARAMARK] in 1969. Asked to open the west coast division of their law department, he moved to Los Angeles in 1974. He finished his career with early retirement at 62.

Frank entered into a relationship with his husband, Josh Brown, in 1975 and they were married in California in 2008.

He is survived by his husband, sister, Sue Wiley [Sam] and many nieces and nephews who were dear to him.

A private burial will occur at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. There will be two memorial services: Friday, Feb. 12th 100:00 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church Beverly Hills, 504 North Camden Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. There will be a memorial service in Philadelphia on March 20th. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to a charity that supports social justice, a cause very important to him.
