Taken all too soon, our beloved Francesco Iwan Hidayat passed away on Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 at the age of 57 years old surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Taufik Hidayat and Ina Tjahjadi in Sungai Gerong, Indonesia on January 5th 1963.

Nothing stopped Francesco from pursuing his dreams. He worked tirelessly to put himself through school and through hard work and limitless determination, Francesco earned his bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. Beginning as an accountant, he worked his way up the ladder to become a director at several of the top consulting firms in the nation.

Francesco was an avid jazz music lover and huge foodie. When he wasn't listening to his extensive collection of LPs, he loved to try all kinds of food from street food to expensive sushi.

Francesco is survived by his loving wife Mia Rumalean, their son Michael Hidayat, their daughter Sarah Hidayat, his sisters Siska Hidayat and Mutia Hidayat, along with their husbands and children, and his brother Hendra Hidayat, along with his wife and children. He also leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues, who all played very important roles in his life.

Francesco may have departed but his legacy, laughter, generosity, and kindness remain in the hearts of his loving family, relatives, and innumerable friends spread far and wide across the globe. And through them, his spirit lives on.
