Frances Perez, 97, of Covina, California, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026. Born on August 12, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, Frances lived a long and full life devoted to her family.
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonel Perez, and her son Richard Perez and daughter-in-law Margaret Perez. She is survived by her son Steve Perez and daughter-in-law Bertha Perez; four grandchildren, Michelle, Cherie, Annamarie, and Steve Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy.
Frances was one of thirteen siblings and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Jessie, Carmen, Jenny, Ermalinda, Mercedes, John, Victoria, and Patricia. She is survived by her siblings Roy, Mary Rose, Diana, and Mary.
Throughout her 97 years, Frances touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wee Kirk o' the Heather, Forest Lawn - Glendale, located at 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205.
