August 25, 1927 - December 19, 2014 Fran was born in LA, grew up in Gardena, and graduated from Woodbury in Accounting. Fran and her husband of 52 years, Ed Howe, were the proprietors of Howe Floors of Glendale for 45 years, where she took pride in serving her many customers. Fran was a member of Altrusa. Fran enjoyed traveling throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Fran was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Ed; her 4 children: Catherine, Claire, Mark, and Matthew; sister, Helen Alexander; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Services honoring Fran's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 30th, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, where she will be laid to rest next to her deceased son, Michael. -
