Frances Jean Deckard

Frances Jean Deckard
December 24, 1927 - August 17, 2013

Frances peacefully went home to be with Jesus on August 17, 2013. She was born to Ernest and Marguerite Stievenart in Brazil, Indiana. She was the second of seven children.

As a young lady, she enjoyed singing in an a capella trio. Frances met the love
of her life, Charles Robert (Bob) Deckard when they both worked at Quaker Maid. They were married on September 30, 1949 and soon thereafter moved to Southern California where she lived the majority of her life. Frances worked as an Avon
Lady while her children were small and later at an employment agency, she was
the officer manager at California Nut & Bolt until she landed her dream job as a
Real Estate Agent. She enjoyed jigsaw & crossword puzzles, shopping on QVC and
Macy's for jewelry, shoes and purses. She also loved desserts, and of course her
family.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Dwyer (sons Grant and Griffin), and son
Keith Deckard (wife Teresa, children Karlie and Christopher)

Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
