Frances "Panchita" Contreras, 87, born on January 5, 1926, in Los Angeles, California. Beloved wife of Eugene Contreras of 65 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 7, 2013. She resided in Pasadena, California at the time of her passing.
Loved and respected mother of Sylvia-Ann of Pasadena California, Eugene Jr. (Gloria) of Pasadena California, Elizabeth (John Cole) of Ontario Canada, Arthur (Yolanda) of Reseda California, Olivia ( Bob Dalitka) of Fountain Valley California. Dear sister of Henrietta Buckingham of Modesto California.
Grandma will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, Valerie, Eugene Jr., Graham, Nicole, Nicholas, Megan, David, Michelle, Robert, Erik, Shannon, Jessica, Scott as well as her 13 great grandchildren, family, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Predeceased by her parents Jesusita and Francisco Lara. Son Eugene Jr., Sisters Dalores Parker, Eva Aguilar, Rebecca DelaCruz.

Mom has passed this world to be with the angels, but not before impacting everyone she touched for good. Momma loved life. She loved children, animals, her music. She was a teacher to all. She loved to laugh and be with family. Many fond memories will be shared of times around the dining room table laughing listening to her stories. Her faith and relationship with God was beautiful to witness.

If flowers grow in heaven, Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother's arms, and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

We will meet again in that place where there is no mourning, that place of eternal joy!
We love you Mom, Grandma, Mama Lita. You are forever in our hearts.
