Fortunato Meda Estrada

Fortunato Meda Estrada was born on June 11, 1951 in Rancho Santa Barbara, Municipio de Atenguillo, Jalisco, Mexico He passed away at 69 years on January 1, 2021 in Fullerton, CA. He was married for 48 years to Maria Esther Lopez. He had five children and 11 grandchildren. His family and profession as a butcher were his life. He was not very expressive, but his actions meant a lot. He never had negative comments or words to say about anyone. He was always trying to find the positive of things and wished well for everyone. He was a butcher for more than 50 years. His occupation was his passion, which lead him to inspire and teach many family members and friends of it. More than half of his labor years were at Northgate Gonzalez Markets, Inc. He felt extremely thankful for being part of this company and gave all of himself to succeed in the meat department with his colleagues. His effort and enthusiasm to his occupation lead to several employees express that, "Fortunato Meda or Nato (as many would call him) is a MAESTRO." He will forever be missed and has left a great emptiness in our heart, soul, and lives, but our biggest comfort as a family is knowing "God only takes the best people!" Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
