Fortunato graduated from the University of the East in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He worked as an auditor at Adamson & Sabado Accounting Firm and retired as a CPA from the City of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife, Carmelita, and twin sons, Christopher and Jonathan.
Visitation will be at Forest Lawn-Long Beach, 1500 East San Antonio Dr. Long Beach, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2013.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 10727 South Downey Ave. Downey on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment immediately follows at Forest Lawn-Cypress, 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress.
