En memoria amorosa de Flor de María Del Toro, de 58 años, un faro de bondad, dulzura, amor, humildad y cuidado, falleció pacíficamente el 15 de junio de 2024. Flor residía en Carson, CA, en el hospital Harbor UCLA al momento de su partida. Enfrentó valientemente los desafíos del cáncer de colon con notable coraje y gracia inquebrantable. Su viaje fue un testimonio de su fuerza interior y resiliencia, inspirando a todos los que presenciaron su lucha. Flor tocó innumerables vidas con su valentía, dejando un legado de determinación, esperanza, compasión y calidez que resonará por siempre en nuestros corazones. Nacida el 28 de junio de 1965 en Asunción Mita, Jutiapa, Guatemala, Flor creció encarnando los valores de empatía y desinterés. Como hija, llevó alegría a sus padres y hermanos con su espíritu gentil y apoyo inquebrantable. Sus hermanos, Glady's, Soraya, Juan Carlos y Roberto, y sus sobrinas y sobrinos compartieron innumerables recuerdos queridos con ella, marcados por risas y vínculos profundos.
En su papel de madre, Flor personificó el amor y la devoción. Sus hijos, Salvador y Ángela, fueron bendecidos al tenerla como su luz guía, encontrando consuelo y fuerza en su presencia amorosa. Les enseñó la importancia de la bondad y la belleza de un corazón compasivo. Más allá de su familia, Flor extendió su calidez a sus amigos y comunidad. Conocida por su naturaleza cariñosa, fue fuente de consuelo y comprensión para todos los que cruzaron su camino. Sus amistades, caracterizadas por el respeto mutuo y el afecto genuino, enriquecieron la vida de aquellos afortunados de llamarla amiga. Flor será recordada por su risa contagiosa, sus palabras reconfortantes de sabiduría y su habilidad para levantar el ánimo de los demás en tiempos de necesidad. Her journey was a testament to her inner strength and resilience, inspiring all who witnessed her fight. Flor touched countless lives with her courage, leaving behind a legacy of determination, hope, compassion, and warmth that will forever resonate in our hearts. Born on June 28, 1965, in Asuncion Mita, Jutiapa, Guatemala, Flor grew up embodying the values of empathy and selflessness. As a daughter, she brought joy to her parents and siblings with her gentle spirit and unwavering support. Her siblings, Glady's, Soraya, Juan Carlos, and Roberto, & her nieces and nephews shared countless cherished memories with her, marked by laughter and deep bonds.
In her role as a mother, Flor epitomized love and devotion. Her children, Salvador & Angela, were blessed to have her as their guiding light, finding solace and strength in her nurturing presence. She taught them the importance of kindness and the beauty of a compassionate heart. Beyond her family, Flor extended her warmth to her friends and community. Known for her caring nature, she was a source of comfort and understanding to all who crossed her path. Her friendships, characterized by mutual respect and genuine affection, enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to call her friend. Flor will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her soothing words of wisdom, and her ability to uplift others in times of need. Her legacy of love and humility will continue to inspire and guide us all.
Though she is no longer physically with us, Flor's spirit lives on in the hearts of her loved ones. Her memory will forever be cherished and her legacy forever honored.
