Fleurdelis Marie Pozon

Fleurdelis Marie Pozon, 73, born on March 4, 1939, in Cebu, Philippines, passed away on November 26, 2012. She resided in Corona, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.

Fleurdelis Marie Pozon graduated from St. Paul Nursing School, Cebu Philippines and she worked as a nurse for over 50 years. Her patients were very important to her and felt that as long as she was able someone had to care for the sick. Her dedication to her profession and to those she served was always a priority regardless of the dangers and her own health issues.

She enjoyed life immensely and expressed it through dance, singing, playing the piano, writing music and without saying loving and giving. She accomplished much in her life and touched so many peoples' lives, in many capacities. A beautiful spirit and remarkable woman that will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her two sisters Francesca and Milagros, seven children Rey Pozon, Anna Marie Pozon Gibbs (Edwin), Johnathan Pozon (Mary), Jonas Pozon (Timolin), Joseph Pozon (LaTonya), Dino Pozon (LeVette), and Rheamie Pozon-Crenshaw (Geno), along with 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, her close friend Jeff Swannigan.

In life she did things her way and in death she chose it her way. May God bless her soul and welcome her to heaven where so many of her loved ones have gone before her.

Though tears will fall for her passing, joy comes from knowing she's now at peace with God and her legacy will continue to live through her family and friends.
